Nikolai has been consulting for a number of educational institutions predominantly connecting young people with employment in the community.
Due to his casual employment status in this chosen field and the itinerant nature of his client group, Nikolai 'connects' with his students by offering them links to cool downloads and access to user services that offer free subscriber status. Nikolai also works with his clients using asynchronous and synchronous online learning environments which often crash or become unstable over time.
On many occasions Nikolai has assisted students to set up RSS readers to catch the latest and greatest in music, latest emergency accommodation offers, free health and legal advice workshops, community events which are released daily, game mods, weather and news posting and many other cool free stuff.
Nikolai has acknowledged a complete shift in the manner in which young people access pertinent information just-in-time
often operating multiple browser frames and mobile devices at once.
Nikolai is very interested in how RSS based web profiles are being 'driven' through mobile devices and has decided to assign his young people a research task in locating the easiest and most user friendly RSS reader for internet enabled mobile phones.
