A podcast (sometimes known as an internet radio show)
is audio content that is 'posted' to an online web site. This information
can then be downloaded to a portable music device like an MP3 player or
you can listen to it on your PC.
To create a podcast you will need a microphone, a personal computer and
audio editing or podcasting software which you can find for free on the
internet.
People can subscribe and access podcast files using an internet connection
- much like turning on and tuning in the radio to listen to a broadcast.
